REBEL PILATES

A boutique Pilates + wellness studio in Pearland, Texas.

A specialized and personalized experience

Be part of a wellness community where you get to practice Pilates in a warm and intimate environment; A space where you will receive personalized attention, encouragement, and accountability from a certified Pilates and Nutrition expert who puts you first?

I am so incredibly excited to announce the soft opening of REBEL PILATES, my new boutique Pilates Studio in Pearland, Texas! It is my hope to serve and influence a healthier and close-knit community by offering worldclass personalized private and semi-private Pilates training on state-of the art equipment, small group Mat classes using a variety of small and medium sized accessories, and small group equipment-based circuit training to advanced students.

What sets Rebel Pilates Apart?

My vision is to help people HOLISTICALLY find restoration for their bodies and minds using movement, nutrition, and lifestyle modalities.  My approach to teaching Pilates is meant to be restorative, gentle, and healing.  This does not mean the routines won't be challenging and that you can't reach the highest potential of performance.  It means that instead of focusing on achieving the sweat, burn, and weight loss, my goal is teach you to focus on what your body needs.  Your body prefers to be in a state of calm, rest, and digest rather than in fight or flight.  When your body gets what it needs, it knows how to heal.  This includes weight management.  You will learn how to move efficiently and smartly to achieve better results than over exerting and pushing that only leads to fatigue and burnout.  And with intentional small group training it allows you to practice Pilates safely and allows the instructors to ensure each member receives appropriate alignment adjustment and movement correction.

Imagine feeling stronger with improved posture, more toned, greater mobility and flexibility, less pain, a sense of greater balance; achieving your goals with a method that can transform your body if you stick to it!  Do it the right way and you can.

Who is Pilates for?

The answer is: EVERYONE.  Depending on your health status, needs and desires, we will work with you to determine if private instruction, group Mat classes, or both are best suited to you. We work with those from dancers and athletes to those with severe limiting conditions.  Our Pilates services are fitness based and physical therapy based.

And to enhance your fitness goals, Rebel Pilates wants to holistically transform your health by offering one-on-one and group health coaching and functional nutrition counseling to those who want to change their overall lifestyle. You will learn about how, when, and what to eat, discover the root causes to chronic and mysterious health issues including pain, fatigue, sleeplessness, digestive issues, weight related issues, autoimmune diseases, and others.  You will receive tailored nutrition and lifestyle protocols that are specific to your needs, requirements, and goals.

The Pilates discipline and method is a very gentle and low impact form of strength training. It emphasizes correct form rather than an intense burn. It strengthens the body's core and provides:

  • Strength

  • Toned body

  • Muscular endurance

  • Mobility & flexibility

  • Coordination

  • Balance

  • Improved posture

  • Improved breathing

  • Less pain

  • Longer leaner muscles instead of the bulk.

  • Pilates can be done every day because it doesn't tear the muscle like other forms of high intensity strength conditioning.

What we specialize in and who we serve:

  • Dancers and fitness enthusiasts with a desire to improve performance and technique.

  • Those with injuries or rehab patients

  • Those with limitations

  • Pre and postpartum conditions such as diastasis recti, prolapse, and general pelvic floor weakness.

  • Those with osteoporosis

Pilates Reformer

Private Pilates

  • I offer private Pilates lessons in my in-house studio using state of the art apparatuses including Merrithew reformer & tower, stability chair, and stability barrel.  I also use various large and small props to support and enhance the experience.

  • Sessions are 1 hour long

  • I require an initial 20-minute free consultation to see if we are a good fit to work together.

  • Before your first session, you will fill out a short intake form that will provide me with your health history and fitness goals.

  • Your first session will include a postural assesment.  Based on that, our discussion, and the information from the intake form, I will create a customized Pilates program uniquely suited to your needs.

Fascial Movement

Using various props and highly specialized movements and exercises, bring back health and hydration to your fascial system. research shows that myofascial pain may originate within the fascial tissue more than the muscle itself. Fascia is the connective tissue that covers muscles, joints, and organs; it is pretty much all over our bodies. When we are stuck, tight, or in pain in one region of the body, it effects the entire body. It may even effect your posture and movement patterns. Have a 'knot' on top of your shoulder? Those are adhesions that have formed in the fascia. The goal is to bring suppleness and balance back to the fascia in order to improve optimal function, mobility and performance. Incorporating fascial work is a great way to compliment your Pilates or fitness routine.

Lessons are private and follow the same price, registration, and programming as regular Pilates lessons.  Please book a free consultation to see if we are a good match to work together.
